Learn More About Our New Dissident Speakers
Last month, we concluded the interview process for the 2026-2027 class of Dissident Project speakers. We have welcomed six new speakers from Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, and Egypt to advance our digital-first strategy by sharing their stories and their unique perspectives on current events in the States. We’re excited to get to work!
Our Summit in New York City
This October, all six of our new dissident speakers will be in New York City for a two-day content creation and media networking summit. Our team members will teach the fundamentals of media—including writing and filming short-form vertical video, structuring personal-experience-driven articles, and building their online brands to reach more Americans across the country. The dissidents will then take time to create new media content and workshop in real time.
And before we send them out to speak to schools across the country, they will participate in a press dinner and reception to meet our New York-based supporters. For more information on the reception, click here!
