In just over two weeks, the Dissident Project will present to high school students and community members in Artesia, NM. See below for the Blessings of Liberty Reception, an event open to the public!
Join the Dissident Project and the PY Foundation for a special evening of cocktails, dinner, and conversation celebrating the freedoms and values that have shaped the American experience.
The evening will feature Grace Jo, who escaped North Korea, and Daniel Chang Contreras, who fled Venezuela, in conversation with Jack Confrey, Director of Development at Young Voices.
Drawing on their firsthand experiences, Grace and Daniel will discuss what life is like when fundamental freedoms are absent and reflect on the principles they have come to value in the United States — including freedom of speech, individual liberty, free enterprise, limited government, and the opportunity for people to build lives of their own choosing.
