Daniel piñero
Daniel Piñero grew up witnessing the decline of the richest Latin American country under socialist policies. In 2017, in the middle of protests against the dictatorship and the highest inflation in the world, he fled to the United States, a country he knew offered freedom and opportunity to those willing to work hard. Upon arriving, he learned English while working as a grocery store clerk, became a hotel front desk clerk, and later a car salesman. He is now back in college to fulfill his dream of becoming a valuable professional able to give back to America and contribute to rebuilding Venezuela.
