Reem IBrahim
Reem Ibrahim is a British-born writer of Egyptian and Moroccan descent, now based in Washington, D.C., where she works at Reason Magazine. Her family's experience under Nasser's socialist regime in Egypt — including the nationalization of her great-uncle's businesses — shapes her firsthand understanding of how authoritarian systems erode freedom and prosperity, a throughline she now traces in Britain's own drift toward state overreach and eroding civil liberties.
