Dissident Project has a New Program Manager!

I’m taking this opportunity to introduce myself as the Dissident Project’s new Program Manager. I’m grateful to contribute to Young Voices mission by leading the Dissident Project as we develop a roster of liberty storytellers who are recognized public voices in the fight for freedom.

About Alexander

Previously I worked at National Review Institute and Leadership Institute. I'm a Navy brat born in Japan and raised in Las Vegas, and I now live in Brooklyn, NY. As Program Manager I'll work to produce events that bring powerful, firsthand stories of life under authoritarianism to new audiences. way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Dissidents in the Media

The public square is on fire with debates over the current conflict in Iran. Last night, our very own Shay Khatiri reached 3.5 million viewers with his appearance on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle."

Speech Highlights

We returned to Liberty University this spring! Grace Jo spoke to nearly 100 students from chapters of Young Women for America, Students for Life, Freedom Center Society, and Young America’s Foundation on her experience escaping North Korea to pursue a better life in the United States.

Frances Hui visited Concordia University Wisconsin two weeks ago to share her life experience as a pro-democracy activist for Hong Kong, and the events that led her to move to the States to continue the fight.

Bring a Dissident to Your School

Do you want to invite a dissident to speak to your class, school, university, or conference? We’d be happy to help. Reach us through the booking form or email me directly at alexander@joinyv.org.

Thank you for your continued support of the Dissident Project. We look forward to sharing with you the progress we are making to create a more free world.

Sincerely,

Alexander Norton III
